Good morning from Bathurst.  We received a good 20 cm of heavy with snow, which is better than the 35 we would have received if it wasn't so wet. This snow is really packable and Ron made a test run yesterday from Rogers Lake on trail 23 down to the Nepisiguit Lodge and back....

       Have you got your lawn mowers out yet? This is serious, with temperatures approaching 10 yesterday with sun, the Meltdown continues. Looking at the short-term forecast, things are not getting better. Temperatures are going to be on the mild side for most of the coming week.

Update 2PM:   From Marc Hannan:   Hey Don.   I just went about 10 km up Trail 23 towards Alyre from Governors. The hilltops are icy but good lube besides that. I didn't see any dirt or rocks. Still snowing a little at times....

 Update 8PM:     I thought I would give you an update before tomorrow morning. I'm not sure what they were talking about as far as rainfall, but so far since this morning if we got 3 mm of rain, that would be stretching it. Looking at what their forecast for tonight is up to 10 mm of rain....
