Friday Club #1

Joan will be opening the Nepisiguit Lodge beginning today Jan 15. We’ll try Friday Saturday and Sunday to see how business goes and make a decision on next week depending on the traffic over the weekend. Joan will also have lottery tickets.

Every time you look at the forecast it is changing. BUT it is all for the good as we started this week off with 25 mm of rain for the weekend and now we may be getting up to 20 cm of snow over the weekend, which is extremely positive news. I don’t want to be too optimistic, but the following weekend looks good as well.

As far as grooming we did manage to groom from Popple Depot down as far as the highway 430; Trails 23, 507, 22 down as far as the Nine Mile East Road on Trail 23. So things are looking up. After this weekend snow, we’ll give it another look. See map below. Green means groomed in the last two days.
