Well after a few days of downtime with the #2 unit, we finally got it back on the trail yesterday afternoon. It's route last night was to the Atlantic host on trail 19. After picking up fuel near the host, we proceeded on trail 19 back towards Nepisiguit lodge. From there it proceeded to Rogers Lake on trail 23. It did all the Clusters on the way there. In the meantime Big Blue was out on trail 22 to the 301 intersection. Trail 500 down to Riverside Drive, 507 Austin Brook, and 510 into Nepisiguit Falls were done last night as well. There is only 5 days left of the lockdown where the lodge gets back o normal operations. We are currently running with 12 noon to 6 PM hours with take-out only. Gas and warming facilities are available.
We would like to apologize for the downtime, but giving today's machinery simple things like a loose wire or faulty sensor can leave you broke down. Unless you had a laptop computer on board and someone able to use it, you are pretty well tied down to a service rep, which is never readily available. There is not much we can do in this day and age with new technology. Give me the old systems anytime.
On another note we have approximately 2 months left for our lottery. We are counting on our members and snowmobiling public and our friends to help put us over the top. You can purchase a ticket by going online on this website or by our many sellers. See previous post for that list or go to our Facebook page to view our sellers.
