Sunday Trails Should be Great

I hope everyone had a good Saturday on the trails and it looks like it will continue. It is truly a great weekend for snowmobiling. We had two groomers on the trails last night with #1out of Rogers Lake and #2 out of Nepisiguit. Between both units we double groomed Trails 23 from Nepisiguit to Red Pine Shelter, Trail 22 from Nine Mile Shelter to the turn around on 22 before the Sugar Shack and the 507 (California Loop). Chaleur groomed the 19 from the Host to Island Lake and the Restigouche club did the 22 from Island Lake up to Dalhousie. It should be good going today especially with the weather. The trails on the NBFSC map that are in yellow and even the orange should be very decent as well. The upper Miramichi club did the 58 up to the North Pole shelter on 58 as well. I just got a report from Bryce as he and his wife did the 504 (Popple Depot to Mt Carleton Park) and the 504 (Mt Fronsac Looop) and he says that those trails were great. Just a little note on the Mt Fronsac Loop; The club brought back this trail this year and it is a must ride.

J'espère que vous avez tous passé un bon samedi sur les sentiers et il semble que ce soit le cas. C'est vraiment une excellente fin de semaine pour la motoneige. Nous avions deux dameuses sur les sentiers hier soir : la n° 1 au départ du lac Rogers et la n° 2 au départ de Nepisiguit. Entre elles, elles ont damé deux fois les sentiers suivants : le sentier 23 de Nepisiguit au refuge Red Pine, le sentier 22 du refuge Nine Mile jusqu'au point de demi-tour sur le sentier 22 avant la cabane à sucre et le sentier 507 (boucle California). Chaleur a damé le sentier 19 du refuge Host jusqu'à Island Lake et le club de Restigouche a damé le sentier 22 d'Island Lake jusqu'à Dalhousie. Les conditions devraient être bonnes aujourd'hui, surtout avec la météo. Les sentiers jaunes et même oranges sur la carte du NBFSC devraient aussi être très praticables. Le club de Miramichi supérieur a également damé le sentier 58 jusqu'au refuge North Pole.
