Still locking for more Snow

Good morning from Bathurst. Not much to report as far as snow is concerned, but we have about 5 to 8 cm down between Bathurst and Popple Depot. I was speaking with Alyre from Serpentine yesterday and he is claiming the same snow depth. It is pointless to look at the long range forecast as it is everchanging.
One positive is that the temps remain below zero and that will help in establishing a base once we get more snow. There is a good 6 to 8 inches of ice on the head pond near the Nepisiguit lodge, which still remains closed.
