Spring-Like Weather for Sledding

Saturday Club #1

-3 at post with all three groomers out last night and are still on the trail. Schedule last night was to groom from East Bathurst to Nepisiguit and back to Atlantic Host with the #2 groomer. The#3 was out of Nepisiguit and up the Rogers Lake on Trail 23 and then back to Nepisiguit. The #1 left Rogers Lake up Piston Alley on Trail 23, then over the 503 to Trail 19.

The weather is April like with temps around zero with high sun; all ingredients of a melting condition. Temperatures tonight will drop to -7. All clubs have been grooming this last storm under us. Trails will start to show the results of grooming. We are surely missing all the Nova Scotia and PEI traffic during the week as lodges are showing that missing business. They normally would fill in that flow of traffic during the week. The way this year is shaping up is not really that good for local economies.
