Nepisiguit Sport Lodge Snowmobile Club #1

Subject: Information for all our members for the 2025-2026 Season

The Nepisiguit Sport Lodge, Club #1, had a good season last year. This package is being sent to you as a member of our club and as always, we do appreciate your support. Our membership was strong again last year. We are looking forward to maintaining these numbers and have invested heavily in our infrastructure, trails and lodge to accommodate everyone.

Our executive and directors have been working hard over the last year. The lodge will be ready to open on December 15th, if the snow arrives in time. We have 3 Pisten Bully groomers ready for the upcoming season, and one Pisten Bully has been fitted with a brush cutter to help with trail brushing. Over the summer and fall months, many trail improvements have been worked on and completed. Our hallmark shelter at Nine Mile, the Red Pine shelter, the Popple shelter, Blue Mountain shelter and Red Brook shelter will again be cleaned by our volunteers and stocked with wood from our generous sponsors.

Something that we have been missing for years, the trail 505, that will bring our guest to a full-service gas station near the Atlantic Host Hotel.

Schedule of Events:

Again, this year we will be having our Wings night, which will be held every Thursday, and by popular demand, our Wednesday Night Suppers starting on January 21st and happening every 2 weeks throughout the season. These nights are sponsored by local and remote business’ and have proven to be fantastic. If you care to help sponsor or co-sponsor one of these nights you can contact us. These fund raisers are a key part of our operation and the funds raised through these events subsidize our grooming operations. The monies raised by the above go right back into the trail system that we groom. The wing and supper schedule will be sent at a later date.

This year we will be participating with the federation by selling the SMNB lottery tickets. Each ticket will sell for $10. See the attached flyer.

Trail Permits:

The regular season pass is $250 plus tax if you purchase the pass before December 15th. As a portion of this cost is returned directly to our club you are thereby supporting the very region where you do your sledding and we need your financial support to keep this system in top condition. Important!! # 1. Make sure to indicate you are a member of Club #1- Nepisiguit on the application or our club will not receive our portion of the pass. #2. For all out of province members, we attached our membership application for obtaining your “Early Bird” trail permit directly with our club.

Our lodge will be serviced by our excellent staff this year to provide you with friendly and helpful service. We also have supreme grade gas, beverages and food available throughout the season for your convenience.

We try to keep all of our members and everyone throughout the Maritimes informed with the current trail conditions and strive to keep you well informed as we possibly can. For business’ we also have different levels of sponsorships. Check it out on our web site as it gives you good exposure to your business.

Have a great season and above all use good judgment and be under complete control at all times while riding your sled. Our main concern is your safety and we need everyone to play his or her part: Please don’t litter; take out what you carry in!!
