Update 9.40 PM: At the moment , all groomers are on the move. Polishing up from Bathurst & Bass River to Nepisiguit Lodge + Rog Lake to Governors and 503
Update 12 PM: Mickey Just pulled into Rogers Lake with the #1 from an all night Marathon. Roger is leaving sometime today to Governors & 503
It has been a long week starting with 40 Cm of snow and winds gusting to as high as 90 Km/Hr, which complicated the grooming with a breakdown on top of that. These problems are hopefully behind us. Trails will only get better as we push towards the weekend. All trails including local trails will have seen a groomer and all trails have been broken through. Now comes the regrooming which some trails have seen already. Trails should be decent from Bathurst and East Bathurst into Rogers Lake. These low temperatures are really helpful in the set-up process.
The boys are still on the trails west of Nepisiguit. The #2 groomer ended up at Nepisiguit this morning after running west on Trail 23 to Nine Mile Shelter, the California Loop (22, 507, 23, Rog Lake, NMS), back to Nepisiguit. Once Roger landed at Rogers Lake last night Mickey took it up the trail 22 and did all clusters on the way back. He is still on the trail. Note: As Roger left the Lodge to Rogers Lake he did the 507 Austin Bk, + Doucet cluster, 509 Shady Lane.
