Jacob Miller-Harris + Last Nights Grooming

Jacob, 25 has been grooming on his own since 2020. He first got into grooming when he was in high school when he would go every chance he had with his grandfather, Brian Harris. Through his tenure with his grandfather, he would periodically take over during Brian’s shifts and as he progressed he would sometimes groom the whole run. Obviously, he has had great training and in testimont, Ron (our grooming director) claims “He akes pride on leaving a nice smooth trail”

Jacob, 25 ans, entretient les pistes à son compte depuis 2020. Il a commencé à s'y intéresser au lycée, accompagnant son grand-père, Brian Harris, dès qu'il en avait l'occasion. Au fil du temps, il prenait régulièrement le relais pendant les quarts de Brian et, avec l'expérience, il lui arrivait d'entretenir la piste entière. De toute évidence, il a bénéficié d'une excellente formation et, comme en témoigne Ron (notre responsable de l'entretien des pistes), « il est fier de laisser une piste impeccable ».

Yesterdays grooming saw the #3 out of Rogers Lake twice during the day. Earlier it had Jacob do the Trail 23 as far as the Mount Fronsac Loop Trail 550 and then later Mickey took it to Governors on Piston Alley over the 503 to Trail 19 and Simpson Fields then back to Rogers Lake. Francois took the #2 out of Nepisiguit on Trail 23 to Nine Mile Shelter, Trail 22 North to the turn around then back to Nepisiguit. Most of the Nepisiguit trails should be close to 10/10.

It is supposed to be on the mild side today so we’re advising the snowmobilers to take it easy on the trails, meaning “save some trail for the person behind you”!!!!

Hier, lors du damage, la motoneige n° 3 a quitté Rogers Lake à deux reprises dans la journée. Plus tôt, Jacob a emprunté la piste 23 jusqu'à la boucle du mont Fronsac (piste 550), puis Mickey l'a conduite jusqu'à Governors sur Piston Alley, puis par la piste 503 jusqu'à la piste 19 et Simpson Fields, avant de revenir à Rogers Lake. François a pris la motoneige n° 2 au départ de Nepisiguit, empruntant la piste 23 jusqu'à l'abri de Nine Mile, puis la piste 22 Nord jusqu'au point de demi-tour, avant de revenir à Nepisiguit. La plupart des pistes de Nepisiguit devraient être en excellent état (10/10).

Les températures devraient être douces aujourd'hui ; nous conseillons donc aux motoneigistes de rouler prudemment sur les pistes, c'est-à-dire de laisser de la place à celui qui vous suit !
