Great Weather for Sledding + Update 8 AM

09:45 AM - February 05, 2020

Update 8 AM:   Ron is up on Piston Alley at post heading for the 503.
Wednesday, Feb 5th, Club #1
 - 7 in Bathurst. We’re putting on the final touches on trail grooming our system to make sure it as flat as we can get it before the anticipated snow Thurs/Fri. The # 1 had just go back from Serpentine yesterday afternoon to Rogers Lake and Roger T jumped in and went to Nine Mile Shelter and back to Red Pine Shelter on Trail 23. He proceeded from there up the 507 and out on Trail 22 to the 301/22 intersection. Ron will be taking the #1 up Piston Alley and over the 503 to Trail 19 today. The trail into Squire Green and to the Bathurst Basin was groomed yesterday. We urge everyone to follow the staked out trail as this is all on private land. STAY ON TRAIL.
It has been very quiet on the trails so far this week so if anyone was sledding, they should have seen very good trails. The supper for tonight is sold out and it looks like the same for next week for the B-B-Q chicken, but there is always a chance for cancellations call 548-9174.
