Great Trails

Feb 11, Wed, 6am. The groomers were out again last night. Jacob was out of Rogers Lake down 23, 507, 22 North to the turnaround, back on 22 South to 9 Mile shelter and back to Rogers Lake on 23. Mickey groomed from Nepisiguit Lodge two Bass River on trail 19. Then back to Nepisiguit.

I had a great experience yesterday with Gary loaning me his sled. Nine of us left Nepisiguit on trail 23 all the way to Serpentine Lodge. We had a great visit with Alyre. From there we continued on 23 to the Candy Cane trail, then the Cupid trail, 23 down through Popple Depot then up over the Mt Fronsac Trail 550 and back to Nepisiguit. All trails were awesome. I was with a great crew. Gary, Antonio, Eddie, Eric, Dougie, Jimmy, Randy and Michel.

Judging from what I seen, the trails that have decent snow cover are 10 out of 10. Granted there are places in the system that could be better, but you can live with that giving the 95% of the system is great.

Les dameuses étaient de retour hier soir. Jacob est parti du lac Rogers par la piste 23, puis la 507, la 22 Nord jusqu'au point de demi-tour, avant de reprendre la 22 Sud jusqu'au refuge de 9 Mile et de revenir à Rogers Lake par la 23. Mickey a damé la piste 19 depuis Nepisiguit Lodge jusqu'à Bass River, puis est retourné à Nepisiguit.

J'ai passé un super moment hier grâce à Gary qui m'a prêté sa motoneige. Nous étions neuf de Nepisiguit par la piste 23 jusqu'à Serpentine Lodge. On a passé du bon temps avec Alyre. De là, nous avons continué sur la 23 jusqu'à la piste Candy Cane, puis la piste Cupid, la 23 en descendant vers Popple Depot, puis en remontant par la piste 550 du mont Fronsac et finalement de retour à Nepisiguit. Toutes les pistes étaient géniales. J'étais avec une super équipe : Gary, Antonio, Eddie, Éric, Dougie, Jimmy, Randy et Michel.

D'après ce que j'ai vu, les sentiers enneigés sont excellents (10/10). Bien sûr, certains endroits du réseau pourraient être meilleurs, mais on peut s'en accommoder étant donné que 95 % du réseau est en excellent état.
