Great Sledding over the Past Two Days

Good morning from Club #1. Sorry for not posting yesterday as I was unavailable due to personal reasons. With all the grooming that was done over the past two days by both the Chaleur and Nepisiguit clubs snowmobilkers were left with awesome conditions as they put out a lot of work for possibly seasons end of grooming looking at the forth coming weather conditions. A report from two sledders in from Maine who bunked up at the Atlantic Host, said the all trails were in mint condition. I’ve submitted our grooming directors Ron Scott report on the grooming below.

Ron Scott’s Report “”” Almost all of our trails saw a groomer in the last 24 hours . From Bass River over to the Atlantic Host up to Popple Depot and 550 loop and trail 509 and 514. Trails leaving Bathurst are in good shape for now but some places the snow will not last when the warm weather coming on Thursday and looking foreword from there it will not get better. In saying this if anyone wants another run now is the time.

On Thursday we will run the groomer from Rogers Lake to the shop in East Bathurst and call it a season for grooming. It will be a good chance to drive the groomer to the shop to clean them and store for the summer. Who would have thought a month ago we would still have good trails a week into April with good sledding.”””

Bonjour du Club n° 1. Veuillez m'excuser pour mon absence hier, due à des raisons personnelles. Grâce au travail de damage exceptionnel réalisé ces deux derniers jours par les clubs Chaleur et Nepisiguit, les motoneigistes ont pu profiter de conditions idéales. Un travail considérable a été accompli, probablement pour préparer la fin de saison compte tenu des prévisions météorologiques. Deux motoneigistes du Maine, hébergés à l'Atlantic Host, ont rapporté que toutes les pistes étaient en parfait état. Vous trouverez ci-dessous le rapport de Ron Scott, notre responsable du damage. Rapport de Ron Scott : « Presque tous nos sentiers ont été damés au cours des dernières 24 heures. De Bass River à Atlantic Host, en passant par Popple Depot, la boucle 550 et les sentiers 509 et 514. Les sentiers au départ de Bathurst sont en bon état pour le moment, mais la neige ne tiendra pas à certains endroits avec l'arrivée des températures douces jeudi, et la situation ne s'améliorera pas par la suite. Cela dit, si vous souhaitez faire une autre descente, c'est le moment.

Jeudi, nous ferons passer la dameuse de Rogers Lake à l'atelier d'East Bathurst et nous mettrons fin à la saison de damage. Ce sera l'occasion idéale de rentrer la dameuse à l'atelier pour la nettoyer et la ranger pour l'été. Qui aurait cru, il y a un mois, que nous aurions encore de bons sentiers début avril, avec de bonnes conditions pour la motoneige ? »
