Completing the Rest of the Grooming after Tuesday's Snow

08:00 AM - February 25, 2021

Thursday, Feb 25th, Club #1

Last night’s grooming: The #1 groomer with Roger from Rogers lake to Popple Depot on Piston Alley into the 506 Dry gulch cluster then the 503 through the Upsalquitch Lake over to Trail 19 then back to Rogers Lake via Trail 23. The #2 groomer with Bryan was out on Trail 23 West from the Nepisiguit Lodge, Nine Mile Shelter, California Loop (NMS, Trail 22, Trail 507, Red Pine Shelter, East on 23 to Rogers Lake, NMS) then back to the Lodge. Note on last Tuesday night’s grooming that we lost the GPS signal on the #2 groomer. That will complete grooming of the main trails, so we can now get all the cluster trails done for the weekend.

Traffic is always on the light side through the week due to the lack of sledding by our Maritime neighbors. They frequently call in just to chat and voice their concern of not being able to visit us. Our club really misses them as they are a very important part of our local economy.

On safety please drive on the RIGHT SIDE  of the trail at all times. Plus please stay on the groomed trails on private property. The pic below is an example of people who are not following basic rules of staying on the groomed trails.
