0 degrees C here in Bathurst. With a bit of soft weather coming on Monday and Tuesday, this would be a good afternoon to go for a little ride. Drop into the Nepisiguit lodge for a snack. Here is a couple of pics of the Radar Run held yesterday at Canoe Landing Lake. Thanks to Chad and Kevin for hosting that event.

Il fait 0 degré Celsius à Bathurst. Avec un temps doux prévu lundi et mardi, ce serait l'après-midi idéal pour une petite balade. Faites un saut au chalet Nepisiguit pour une collation. -5 with a bit of snow falling this morning in Bathurst. Here’s wishing you a very happy Sunday. It was very busy on the trails yesterday as there were a few events taking place. As I’ve already reported that we have one groomer down for the remainder of the season, but we had the #2 and 3 groomers out of Nepisiguit and Rogers Lake last night with Jacob and Francois at the helm. Trails 23, 22, 507, 550 Cal Loop were done.

Just a little note on litter: Please take out what you take in. It is getting near the end of the season and there is always litter that pops up here and there, which reflects badly on the sport. There was a recent post on FB questioning does snowmobiling impact the environment and my answer was no, except what people leave behind in litter. If it is so simple to carry packages or beverages on your snowmobile, then it goes without saying that it is much easier to pack it out. Thank You!!!

-5°C avec quelques chutes de neige ce matin à Bathurst. Je vous souhaite un excellent dimanche. Les sentiers étaient très fréquentés hier en raison de plusieurs événements. Comme je l'ai déjà mentionné, une dameuse est hors service pour le reste de la saison, mais les dameuses n° 2 et 3 étaient en service hier soir à Nepisiguit et Rogers Lake, pilotées par Jacob et François. Les sentiers 23, 22, 507 et 550 (boucle Cal) ont été préparés.

Petit rappel concernant les déchets : merci de rapporter vos déchets. La fin de saison approche et il arrive que des déchets apparaissent ici et là, ce qui nuit à l'image de notre sport. Récemment, une publication sur Facebook demandait si la motoneige avait un impact sur l'environnement, et ma réponse était non, sauf pour les déchets laissés sur place. S'il est si simple de transporter des paquets ou des boissons sur sa motoneige, il va de soi qu'il est beaucoup plus facile de les emporter. Merci !
