We Are Grooming

-1 in Bathurst at post. We started our first grooming runs yesterday. We had the #1 groom out of Rogers Lake yesterday to Popple Depot and back. Conditions were very good so far. Today Ron will send the #2 back to Popple Depot on Trail 23 again to widen the trail. The #1 (Pisten Bully) well groom out of Rogers Lake, up the 507, Trail 22 as far as the 301 Trail, and back to Rogers Lake.

There is the potential of 25 cm of snow through Sunday, so we will see what that brings us. Just a note on trail 23, 9 Mile East Road, will be plowed this winter. We will be grooming a shared Trail in that section.

Just a note on grooming expenses. As you all know the price of diesel is at a abhorrently high price. Some clubs will surely suffer at these high prices including ours. This will not deter Club #1 from doing its best to keep the trails up to standard. That is why we are counting on our 50/50 Lottery to keep us up to speed.
