Up to Serpentine

We had another day of steady traffic yesterday, although not up towards Governors and Serpentine. It could be because sledders were just out for short runs. The #1 groomer is on the way to Serpentine this morning on Trail 23. It should be back to Rogers Lake this evening. The fact that we lost one to two operators due to attaining other jobs, we rested two until tonight.
Just to repeat yesterday’s message; Given the situation with the Corona Virus and a discussion amongst our executive, it is our opinion that we have no choice but to cancel the Steak Supper scheduled for Wednesday. We feel that is the prudent action considering the well being for all and being in compliance with our government wishes that large gatherings puts our clientele knowingly at serious risk. The lodge will remain open with regular services and we hope everyone will understand our concerns. We also want to thank Tim Hortons and Stothart Automotive our sponsors for the “would have been steak supper”. They are in complete agreement with our decision. Fortunately this would have been our last supper for this season.
