Trails are Hard

09:00 AM - February 16, 2022

With the recent thawing and freezing the trails are really hard. The recent grooming has taken most moguls out and the groomers are out. I was over in East Bathurst today to the shop and had a look down the trail 19 off Miramichi Ave and if what I seen there is any indication of how flat the trails are, it should be great going. The #1 was out of Rogers Lake up to Popple Depot and over the 503 to Simpson Fields, back down to the Popple Depot Shelter and over on the 506 to the Dry Gulch Cluster. The #2 was down to Bass River then up to Nepisiguit on trail 19, the 502 into Austin Brook and up as far as the Nine Mile Shelter on Trail 23, from there back down to Atlantic Host When it hit Bathurst it did the 500 down to Bathurst Basin and the 501 down to the Civic Center. The Three groomers will be back out today.

We have had local businesses come forward with sponsorship to our Thursday Wing Nights. A big Thank You to all businesses that came forward to sponsor this night. This week’s sponsors are Betty Yorke and Dennis Mahar. So far we have all Thursday night’s sponsors through to March 31.
