Nine Mile received the new shelter on November 11th. Final touches were done on Nov 18. After the delivery of Nine Mile Shelter, the wood has being cut and piled there this weekend by Peter Kenny (Nine Mile shelter caretaker) and crew. Plans for next year include 4 new vinyl windows for from wall to replace donated wooden windows, along with epoxy coating for the floor, donated by Canadian tire, thanks to Marc and James from 3-step construction for looking after this. Great support from the community for funding on this build totalling $9450.00 with bills coming in under the amount raised. The balance will be used for further upgrades next season.
