Test Run Yesterday

Ron was out testing the snow conditions on Tuesday between Rogers Lake and Red Pine Shelter, up the 507 and Trail 22. Conditions on snow depth are at a bare minimum of 6 to 8 inches, of which when compacted can barely make great conditions.. Folks, we need more snow ad the forecast is not great in that regard.

Ron's Report: I made a attempt to do some grooming today. I left Rogers lake went west on 23 then the 507 and north on the 22.. I had to turn around on the 22 as there is just not enough snow . There is only between 5-6 inches at the most. It is just not worth putting the groomer and drag over this and wasting fuel and time. We need to get a foot of snow before we will be able to do much. Only a couple of sleds out and I am sure its not very good going.
