Some Trails closed until we get more Snow

Hoping everyone had a good Christmas. There is not good news on the trails out of the Nepisiguit Lodge to Rogers Lake. As a result of Friday’s storm where we were inundated with snow then a LOT of rain and that section of trail has really taken a hit with water cuts, so much, that we have to suspend grooming from the Lodge to Rogers Lake. We had a report that they got through with sleds from the Lodge out to Nine Mile East Rd, but without encountering numerous water cuts, plus they didn’t make it from Nine Mile West rd into Rogers Lake due to a huge water crossing. As a result we are suspending grooming from the Nepisiguit Lodge until such time that the trail heals up with more freezing plus snow. Plus it goes without saying that the Nepisiguit Lodge will be temporarily closed until we get the above conditions met as there is absolutely no traffic out of the lodge. Ron will have the groomers check the other trails going west out of Rogers Lake tomorrow morning.
