Good morning from Bathurst. Well folks, it looks like we’re going to have more white stuff over night. Up to 10 to 20 cm from Bathurst to Serpentine. That should bring the levels up towards two feet easily in a lot of areas in the high ground. A lot of the trails are getting packed down, which is extremely helpful for us when we do start grooming on the 15th, which is a good reminder to make sure you pick up your early bird trail permit. I know it will be a tough decision for our folks from out of province, but I’m half way certain that the travel ban will lift. Let’s keep our fingers crossed on that one.
Ron has his crews all lined up to start grooming on the 15th. At this point we are unsure of grooming right from Bathurst on Trail 19 due to insufficient snow and the lack of freezing. That call will be made as conditions provide.
