Looking Good for another Great Weekend on the Trails

Good Morning to all from Bathurst. First a big thank you for another successful wings night at Nepisiguit Lodge.

Our groomers wrote again last night with the #1 grooming piston Alley, Trail 23 up to Popple Depot then over on 503 to Simpson Fields on trail 19. It returned on same route back to Rogers Lake. The #2 unit was out of the Nepisiguit Lodge up to Nine Mile shelter, Trail 22, and Trail 507 to Red Pine shelter and back to the lodge on same route.

I have numerous reports coming in from some of our members that the trails are in great shape and in fact it is the best that they have seen in years. There are a few contributing factors to this; #1 is continuous grooming, #2 is little snowfall in between grooming, #3 is good equipment. We have all of that.

Today I would like to give a little comment on litter. It would be very helpful if what you brought in that you would also carry it out. There is nothing more disgusting to see litter on the side of the trail and it is so obvious that we know where it is coming from. You'll see most of it at pit stops. So please remember when you're out there on the trail take back your litter. I would also like to mention that at least 90% of you conform with the above standards and I thank you.
