Great Wednesday Night Supper

Grooming last night after a mild day. Jacob took the #2 from Nepisiguit to Bathurst on trails 23/19 and also the 500 into Riverside Drive, 501 into the Civic Center and the 505 into First Nations Irving and back to Nepisiguit. Mickey Took the #3 out of Rogers Lake, to 23, Red Pine Shelter 507 to 22 South to Nine Mile Shelter, and over to Nepisiguit then back to Rogers Lake via Trail 23.

We want to thank Fix Auto for the wonderful steak supper at the lodge last night, Lee Stever for his again masterful touch on the steak BBQ and of course all who participated in the serving and preparation of the meal. We have two more Wednesday night suppers planned for the remainder of this year both of which are weather dependent. On another note, we want to thank the Big D Drive-In Restaraunt for anothe succesful Danny Burger Run last weeken at Rogers Lake Lodge. The event brought in $4750.00 which will help in maintainig our trails.

Groomers will be out again tonight. All clubs are doing great with the grooming and the Mt Carleton groomers are doing their best on the Christmas Mountains and into Serpentine Lodge. Most trails are 8/10.

Le damage des pistes a eu lieu hier soir après une journée douce. Jacob a emprunté la piste n° 2 de Nepisiguit à Bathurst par les pistes 23 et 19, ainsi que la 500 jusqu'à Riverside Drive, la 501 jusqu'au Civic Center et la 505 jusqu'à First Nations Irving, avant de revenir à Nepisiguit. Mickey a pris la piste n° 3 depuis Rogers Lake, jusqu'à la piste 23, puis la piste 507 depuis le refuge Red Pine, la piste 22 Sud jusqu'au refuge Nine Mile, et enfin jusqu'à Nepisiguit, avant de revenir à Rogers Lake par la piste 23.

Nous tenons à remercier Fix Auto pour le délicieux souper de steaks servi hier soir au lodge, Lee Stever pour son talent exceptionnel à la préparation du barbecue et bien sûr tous ceux qui ont participé au service et à la préparation du repas. Deux autres soupers sont prévus mercredis soir d'ici la fin de l'année, sous réserve des conditions météorologiques. Par ailleurs, nous remercions le restaurant Big D pour le succès de la course Danny Burger Run qui s'est déroulée le week-end dernier au Rogers Lake Lodge. L'événement a permis de récolter 4 750 $ qui contribueront à l'entretien de nos sentiers. .

Les dameuses seront de nouveau à l'œuvre ce soir. Tous les clubs font un excellent travail de damage, et les dameuses du Mont Carleton font de leur mieux sur les Christmas Mountains et jusqu'au Serpentine Lodge. La plupart des sentiers sont notés 8/10.
