Day 3 :" Grooming and Things are looking Up.

We had a good day yesterday. Four passes on Trail 23 from Rogers Lake to Governors on Piston Alley with the #1 Groomer. The #2 Groomer was out of the Lodge down The Line on Trail 19 as far as Blue Mountain near Big River and over to the 19/23 intersection where the Tracadie groomer stops on Trail 23. Conditions for grooming into East Bathurst Trail 19 East and Bathurst on Trail 19 West did not have sufficient snow cover to groom. Hopefully with the snow we get today will be enough to make those connections.

This is a sledders report from Gary: Hi Don. Kevin and I were out for a sled ride this afternoon. Trail from lodge to nine mile road and is all frozen good now, no water holes. We did California loop down to Roger lake, the trail is very good. Coming back up to nine mile west road was plowed part way in just past shady lane about a km. Other than that section trails were all good for the snow we have. We saw about a couple dozen sleds out around, everyone is happy to get out on their first run.

Our neighboring clubs got their grooming done today. Both Chaleur and Super Village clubs got some good connections made. It is early yet and conditions are not even close to perfect, so the advice is to drive with caution.
