Mussels at Rogers Lake Today

The #1 groomer was out of Rogers Lake Last Night, east on 23 to highway 430, back to Nine Mile Shelter, Trail 22 to the 301/22 intersection, back to the 507 down to Red Pine Shelter and 23 to Rogers Lake. The #2 will remain parked at the Garage for the remainder of the season, unless something catastrophic happens like 2 feet of snow.

All in all, this latest dump gave some life back into the season for a lot of sledders including some NS people who made the trip up this past week. From Paul NS: Man what a amazing 3 days -left every morning at 7:30 all groomed up each day, and the Christmas Mountains were self groomed by the sun with 6 inches of powder on top. You could not ask for a better three days. Great job DON was a $#!& year but turned into a great memory. Talk soon, bud. On another note I was speaking with another friend from NS last night. Gary was saying they rode the 503 and it was mainly gravel. His advice was this trail should be closed. He also said the best running is the 22 and 301 over to the Sugar Shack and that people are now looking to travel anywhere where there is snow even if it is off trail. From Nepisiguit out to highway 430 is now very hard core.
